It's something cool to see if you're in the area. Our kids enjoyed it. Our guide, Andrew, did a good job. Not too expensive.

If you're vacationing or just in the mountains and within an hour of this place I would recommend that you visit it. Linville Caverns is the best cave tour in the area. There are also waterfalls nearby if you enjoy hiking. Be sure to bring a jacket as the caves are very cool, even in the summer. I try to get here every year or two and really enjoy the tours. You will likely spend 1 – 2 hours at the caves because you buy your ticket and wait for the next tour. The tour itself is around a half hour long, so keep in mind the wait times and do not show up 20 minutes before they close. There are very old formations in the caves, cracks that go deeper than have been measured, and a fault line overhead! Be careful of your camera equipment as there are a few places where water is dripping from above. Pricing is reasonable and well worth the cost. Highly recommended!

Cavern? Not really. More like a hole in the ground that is unimpressive and bleak. Save your time and money and go to Luray or Carlsbad. NC is a joke from start to finish....

Took a day trip to the Cavern, had a good time well worth the trip. 52 degrees inside and drips on you
