A great place to stay. Excellent river and lake fishing nearby. Wi Fi was not working properly. The road leading from I 5 is in need of some serious repair work, very bumpy. The restaurant food quality is very good as is the service.

Driving two 34-foot motor homes each towing a 30-foot trailer full of race cars, we can't stay in just any RV park. Many don't have pullthrough spaces long enough for us. Agreed, this place is some distance off I-5 and the road is bumpy, curvy and narrow, but we were pleased when we arrived and found plenty of space for our needs and a beautiful location on the river. Seemed like a long way getting in but not nearly so far going out the next morning! It's relatively expensive but the facilities are beautiful (check the murals!), as is the setting. We had breakfast at the restaurant the next morning, good food and friendly folks. When the trees grow up in a few years this place will be absolutely gorgeous.

This is a beautiful park if you are looking for large spaces right on the river in a remote location. There is a bar/restaurant on site and the park is very well maintained. The scenery is magnificent and we hear it's great fishing right from the shore. In our case we were looking for a 1 night stopover along I-5. It is actually 6 miles east of I-5, the last 5 of these miles were on a narrow, bumpy, very curvy road. We asked for a pull through site as we didn't want to unhook. The pull through sites are actually pull in sites not on the water and they let you off road onto grass & dirt to get back to the road, unfortunately this path points you in the opposite direction of the exit so you end up driving through the park and exiting through the entrance. Also there's no Verizon cell service at the park and the park WiFi was not working during our stay.

We drove up off I-5 the other day hoping to stop here for the night. The road up is windy and bumpy, not very much fun. Once we got there, we were a bit surprised at how bare it was considering it was like $60/nt. There are 2 types of spots. Apparently trailers are only allowed on the street side (not river side) although there was a 5th wheel on the river side but they wouldn't let us. The spots are concrete with nice grass in between them, but the trailer spots are really close to each other. The motorhome / riverside spots are not quite as close. There is no shade because the park appears to be very new. We won't stay here because it's very expensive, has no shade and the trailer spots are too close and not river side as one would expect from the price. There is also a per-pet and per-person fee, be sure to ask about those on the phone.
